Exam & Certification

  • What are the prerequisites for the certification?

    One should be an ITIL Foundation certified or Bridge qualification equivalent. All candidates must hold the ITIL Foundation certificate. A total of 17 credits minimum must be achieved from Foundation and Intermediate modules before the Managing across the Lifecycle module can be taken. The Managing across the Lifecycle module must be taken and passed once 17 credits have been earned to achieve a total of 22 credits minimum required for ITIL expert.

  • Can I use only ITIL® Manuals to study?

    For Basic level foundation you can, as the ITIL® manuals contain mostly everything you need. However it is not recommended as interpretations of ITIL® may vary and can be different to that required or of the standard. Learning by an accredited course will save time and will give you a better understanding of the concepts.

    For the intermediate or diploma levels it is compulsory to attend an accredited training course.
