11. How to track number of hours spent on e-learning?

You can find this when you login to our LMS. There is a section by name “View Login / Logout” report.

12. Will PMI approve your PDU’s to appear for exam?

We are a PMI REP. Our REP (Registered Education Provider of PMI) id is 3147.

Log onto www.pmi.org, the official website and under Professional development TAB click on Find REP link and search by name SIMPLILEARN.

So the certificate that we issue can be used as 35 contact hours of formal education required to appear for PMP Exam and yes all our course completion certificates are approved by PMI USA.

Please note, you can claim PDU, once you become PMP. Unless you are a PMP, you cannot claim PDU. For appearing in PMP exam, you do not require 35 PDU, but 35 Contact Hours.

13. Am I going to get the course completion certificate online or by post to my home country? Will there be any additional charge for getting the certificate by post?

Course completion certificate or 35PDU’s will be issued by simplilearn as a PDF file sent to you automatically once you clock your requested number of hours on our website and attempt the full length test provided to you along with the course as a package.

Sorry, we do not send the hard copy of the certificate to our online course users. We provide hard copies only to our classroom training participants.

14. What is the schedule for virtual classes if I opt for standard package?

We will inform about the schedule and the topic that would be covered one week before the actual class commences through email. The link to join the virtual class with password would be sent to each candidate on the day the class is going to be conducted.

18. How can I keep my PMP certification active?

You can keep your PMP certification active by earning 60 PDU’s within 1 CCR cycle (i.e. within 3 years of becoming PMP certified) by doing additional certifications that we offer like ITIL V3, or Microsoft Project Training.

22. What is the new format of the exam?

With effect from July 1st 2009, the PMP exam is based on PMBOK IVth edition. The PMBOK IVth edition was launched on Dec 31st, 2008. Exam results are divided in six areas. There are no minimum marks in separate areas.

24. Can I find out what grade I received on my exam?

Yes, your score will be given to you automatically at the end of the exam at the prometric center.

25. How do I find my PMI ID number?

You receive your PMI ID number, also known as your Member ID, when you apply for the credential exam or when you first become a PMI member. You use this number to report PDUs.

26. How do I find my certification (PMP, CAPM, etc.) number?

Your certification number is shown on the certificate as the PMP, CAPM, PgMP, PMI-SP or PMI-RMP number.
