Simplilearn Is Two Million Learners Strong and Growing

We at Simplilearn are proud that we’ve reached the milestone of two million learners onboarded across the platform. We began operations in 2010 and achieved the one million learner mark in early 2018; now, less than three years later, we’ve doubled our learner base. Every month, nearly 70,000 learners actively train on the platform, about the same as the combined total enrollment of Stanford University, Harvard University, and the University of California at Berkeley.

With the onset of the pandemic, professionals have found the best way to build their skills for career growth has been through online learning, and many have chosen Simplilearn to help them succeed. Each month, Simplilearn conducts more than 1,000 live classes online. On average, our 70,000 learners together spend more than 500,000 hours each month on the platform. While the majority of our learner base consists of individual learners, we also offer outcome-driven corporate training and upskilling programs for organizations across 12 countries.

Simplilearn offers professionals and aspiring professionals both short term and Master’s programs in digital skills like Big Data, Data Science and Business Intelligence, AI & Machine Learning, Digital Marketing, Cyber Security, Software Development, and Project Management. With upskilling and reskilling key to future growth opportunities, online learning has gained popularity among both students and professionals. Adding to this was the work-from-home scenario, and uncertainties in the job sector post the pandemic which encouraged many professionals to invest in self-development. In fact, we saw a 60% jump in enrollments in the early days of lockdown. Over the last 6 months, we also on-boarded over 50,000 corporate learners across 12 countries. We also saw several Indian startups and leading universities partner with us for tech-specific skilling programs.”
