Introduction

I completed my BE in Computer Science in 2021 and have more than four and a half years of professional experience. I started my career as a Technical Support Engineer, primarily working as a Windows Support Engineer for Microsoft. While this role gave me valuable experience in the support domain, I eventually felt that my learning had become limited and wanted to explore a more challenging career path. This led me to develop an interest in cloud and DevOps and eventually pursue a transition into the field.

Reason to Upskill

After around four years in technical support, I realized I wanted to move beyond the support role and build expertise in a more technology-focused domain. I was particularly interested in cloud and DevOps, but I had limited knowledge of the field when I first started exploring it. I wanted to develop the right skills through structured learning and hands-on practice rather than relying only on theoretical knowledge. My goal was to build practical expertise, gain confidence, and prepare myself for a career transition into DevOps.
