Introduction
My name is Amin, and I specialize in e-commerce growth strategy. I work closely with direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands—businesses that operate purely online without any brick-and-mortar presence—helping them scale and optimize their growth. I also run my own digital agency, Liquid Stars, based in Los Angeles, where I support brands in building and expanding their e-commerce presence. Over the years, my work has involved product merchandising, optimization, and business growth strategies, which naturally sparked my interest in understanding product development more deeply.
Reason to Upskill
My interest in product management goes back to 2018, when I attended a conference that highlighted the growing importance of product development as a discipline. While I was already involved in aspects of product enhancement and merchandising through my work in e-commerce, I realized that I lacked a complete understanding of the end-to-end product lifecycle. I wanted to move beyond intuition-based decisions and adopt a more structured, strategic approach to building and managing products. This motivated me to pursue a formal certification that would help me gain a holistic perspective on product management.
Choosing Simplilearn
I first came across Simplilearn a few years ago while exploring university-backed certification programs. What stood out to me was the collaboration with reputed institutions like the University of California, San Diego, which ensured both credibility and quality. As I compared different product management programs, this one felt like the right fit due to its structured curriculum, experienced faculty, and weekend learning format, which aligned well with my professional schedule. The strong alumni network and industry relevance further reinforced my decision to enroll.
