Introduction
I currently work as an IT Officer with the Windmoeller & Hoelscher Group in India, based in Chennai/Hyderabad. My role involves working with enterprise-level systems and IT projects, supporting business operations through technology. Recently, my responsibilities have started evolving toward AI-driven initiatives as I became involved in a new project that incorporates artificial intelligence.
Reason to Upskill
As AI began playing a more active role in my new project, I realized the importance of developing the right skills to take on these emerging responsibilities. Since our internal AI initiatives were still in their early stages and project timelines were tight, my manager encouraged me to pursue external upskilling. I enrolled in the Advanced Executive Program in Applied Generative AI by IIT Madras, in association with Simplilearn, to build a stronger understanding of AI and prepare myself for the transition toward AI-focused responsibilities within my role.
