The Journey
My professional journey began in 2017 as a Project Trainee at the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). After that, I joined Mindtree as an Azure consultant. I have been working in Azure hybrid cloud storage, providing required resolutions by reviewing support packages and troubleshooting the fixes if needed. I assist customers in performing online and offline migration of data to Azure. In addition to that, I have hands-on experience installing Kubernetes by creating AKS clusters on the user’s environment and resolving queries. While I was happy, I knew I wanted to learn more, mainly about Databricks. I yearned for knowledge, and this is what led me to Simplilearn.

I stumbled upon Simplilearn through recommendations and a little research. My learning experience with Simplilearn was great and I opted for their Professional Certificate Program In Data Engineering. The course was very comprehensively planned. I could learn the fundamentals of data engineering along with Azure and AWS data engineering side. All the instructors were great, especially Amit & Satish, who had a great delivery style. Their teaching techniques were great. I could do additional projects apart from my regular course project because they made all the topics very interesting. I definitely recommend Simplilearn to anyone who wants to learn, upskill and grow.

After finishing the course, I got many calls from recruiters. What started as a journey to learn and expand knowledge eventually brought a transformation in my career, helping me land a new job altogether. The course helped me get a new job at VMWare, with a 110% salary hike. I joined VMware as a technical consultant, and currently, I am an integration engineer, all thanks to my decision to upskill!
