My Career Journey So Far
I did a BE in Mechatronics engineering and am pursuing a distance learning MBA program in Operations Management from Anna University, Chennai. My professional journey started at Amazon as a business development associate, where I worked for two years. While working, I enrolled in Simplilearn’s PGP in Business Analysis with Purdue University. I got a job offer at FLEX as a Business Analyst. While working at FLEX, I received another job offer from Comcast for the same job role, and I work at Comcast today.
The Challenge
When I started working at Amazon, I realized I wanted to move into a technical job profile. I didn’t want to go into the software development field, so I thought about what matched my experience, and that’s when I decided to go into the business analysis field. I started looking for courses to help me with the transition and upskilling. I wanted to enroll in a course that companies would recognize. Eventually, I went with PGP in Business Analysis with Purdue University by Simplilearn.

The course was a great decision for me. The timing of classes was very convenient, weekend classes helped me a lot, and I used the morning time on weekends to complete the projects at the end of every class. I really appreciated the doubt-clearing sessions. I had a few doubts, and they cleared them right on the spot. The lecturers and trainers were experts in their particular fields; whatever they taught us was quite simple to understand and straightforward, even though I was fairly new to this field.
Even before starting the course, I had access to the training modules. They were very well put together, so everything seemed easy. The technical stuff and tools were very clear. Kudos to the lecturers.
