My Career Journey So Far
I did a BE in Mechatronics engineering and am pursuing a distance learning MBA program in Operations Management from Anna University, Chennai. My professional journey started at Amazon as a business development associate, where I worked for two years. While working, I enrolled in Simplilearn’s PGP in Business Analysis with Generative AI. I got a job offer at FLEX as a Business Analyst. While working at FLEX, I received another job offer from Comcast for the same job role, and I work at Comcast today.
The Challenge
When I started working at Amazon, I realized I wanted to move into a technical job profile. I didn’t want to go into the software development field, so I thought about what matched my experience, and that’s when I decided to go into the business analysis field. I started looking for courses to help me with the transition and upskilling. I wanted to enroll in a course that companies would recognize. Eventually, I went with PGP in Business Analysis with Generative AI in partnership with Purdue University by Simplilearn.
