My professional journey began after completing my MBA in Finance in 2003, and since then, I have traversed various roles within the financial services industry. With 19 years of rich experience, I’ve held positions from a Business Analyst to my current role as a Senior Audit Manager at Standard Chartered. My career has been a testament to the importance of constant learning and adapting, which led me to the pivotal decision to upskill myself in order to stay relevant and competitive in the ever-evolving FinTech landscape.
Enrollment Decision and Career Goals
Having been a part of the cybersecurity team at Standard Chartered for two years, I realized the significance of staying updated with the latest technologies and market trends. My last certification was the CISA in 2008, and it became apparent that to keep up with the pace of change, a new certification was necessary. This realization, coupled with the ambition to present a stronger case for myself in potential future promotions, steered me towards upskilling. Simplilearn caught my attention due to its collaboration with IIIT Bangalore and the unique opportunity to intern with NPCI, offerings unmatched by other platforms.
