About the Role

The Associate Director of Products will own the product growth strategy for our Technology vertical in categories like Cloud, Cyber, DevOps, Coding & Blockchain/Quantum computing. They will define the direction and launch of world class programs that drive growth, revenue and customer satisfaction through these programs. The role will manage a lean team of product managers, associate product managers that manage the vision, roadmap and execution of the program roadmap. 

The person coming on-board should be driven by a larger purpose and someone who is willing to walk the extra mile to make a change in the lives of thousands of learners. The role has the following broad dimensions –

  • Manage the existing portfolio of programs across all product lines(Certifications, Post graduate programs, Bootcamps) to drive growth & profitability
  • Own the 3-6 month roadmap of programs in technology vertical. Create POVs (point of views) on key categories and their success criteria across multiple domains such as devops, cloud, coding and blockchain
  • Launch new programs based on the roadmap with alignment across sales, marketing, learner success, university partners, industry partners and finance.
  • Own the program success metrics across financial metrics such as revenue growth, gross margin and contribution margin all the way  to learner success metrics
  • Oversee the curriculum development team’s prioritization to deliver on the program launches and deliver the business outcomes outlined for the program

 

Who is the Right Fit?

  • Tier 1 MBA graduate or someone who has demonstrated growth and performance of their products in a high growth, high scale environment. This could be in a category management or product management role for a revenue generating product
  • Minimum 5+ years of overall experience in these areas:
    • Product management or Category management of revenue driving products preferably in high ASP, premium product lines.
    • P&L management of products and product lines: from revenue to margin management.
  • This candidate should also have specific behavioral traits such as:
    • Strong influencing skills and the ability to work with cross functional stakeholders to get the work done
    • Ability to work on ambiguous problems and create an execution plan for success
    • Ability to understand data and base his/her decisions on sound analysis
    • Structured thinking through frameworks and product patterns.
  • Work experience from eLearning or Internet domains preferred
