About the Course

Getting the right results from AI image generators and vision models often comes down to how you write your prompts. Even small changes can make a big difference. In this course, you'll learn how vision models understand prompts, edit specific parts of images, and reason about visual information. You'll also explore real-world applications, identify why models make mistakes, and understand security risks like hidden instructions in images. Each lesson includes practical demos using free tools, so you can follow along and apply what you learn.

FAQs

  • Do I need to pay for any tools to take this course?

No. The demos use free tools, so you can follow along without paying.

  • Do I need a technical background?

No. The course starts with the basics and builds up step by step. If you can write a clear description of what you want, you can learn this.

  • What is a vision model?

It's an AI model that can work with images. Some models understand images, like describing a scene or identifying objects. Others generate or edit images from text instructions.

  • How is prompting a vision model different from prompting a text-only model?

With a vision model, you also have to think about the image, what's in it, how it's arranged, and what the model should focus on. The first lesson covers how context works differently in these models.

  • Can I edit just one part of an image with AI?

Yes. In the second lesson, you'll learn how to select a specific part of an image, cut it out, and regenerate only that piece.

  • What is prompt injection in images?

It's when instructions are hidden inside an image to trick a model into doing something it shouldn't. The last lesson shows how this works and how to defend against it.

  • Can AI explain why it got an image wrong?

Not on its own, but you can learn to find the cause. The third lesson shows you how to work out exactly why a model made a mistake.

  • Is this course useful for people who are from non-tech?

Yes. Designers, marketers, and content creators can use these skills for visuals, and the techniques also apply to robotics, development, and other fields.

  • How many lessons are there?

The course has 4 lessons, each with a demo. They build on each other, so it's best to go in order.

  • Will I get a certificate?

Yes. You'll receive a free certificate when you complete the course, which you can add to your LinkedIn profile or resume.
