Artificial Intelligence Courses Overview

Simplilearn's Artificial Intelligence courses are taught by working AI professionals and faculty from partner institutions, including Michigan Engineering, Oxford Saïd Business School, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IITM Pravartak, and Virginia Tech.

Program advisors and trainers include:

  • Ajay K Singhal, Data, AI and Cloud Consultant (10+ years)

  • Anirban Paul, Visiting Faculty at IIT R and Data and AI Tech at Oracle (15+ years)

  • Alok Yadav, Data Scientist at Kendryll, formerly Darwinbox (15+ years)

  • Judy DeWolf, Senior AI Product Manager at PlexTrac and former McKinsey security leader

  • William Henry Harrison, Deputy CIO, Transformation and Strategy at MDOT (15+ years)

Yes. Every AI course ends with a certificate of completion, and most are co-developed with a named partner institution, such as Microsoft, IBM, Michigan Engineering Professional Education, EICT Academy IIT Kanpur, IITM Pravartak, Oxford Saïd Business School, or Virginia Tech, depending on the program.

You will build practical projects across multiple areas, from multi-agent systems to predictive models, using real world examples such as loan defaults, medical scans, and banking operations. You will finish with a portfolio you can showcase.

  • Multi-Agent Systems: Build workflows where multiple AI agents collaborate on tasks using CrewAI, LangGraph, and n8n. You will automate banking operations and connect internal APIs through the Model Context Protocol.

  • RAG and LLM Applications: Build pipelines that retrieve information and generate answers from documents using vector databases such as FAISS and ChromaDB. Projects include query routers, financial contract analyzers, and context-aware chatbots.

  • Deep Learning and Computer Vision: Train neural networks with TensorFlow to detect vehicles in images, the kind of computer vision work behind self driving cars, and classify medical scans. You will also build image-generation architectures using Stable Diffusion and Gradio.

  • Predictive Machine Learning: Build machine learning models to predict loan defaults, handle imbalanced datasets, analyze customer behavior through clustering, and forecast sales over time.

  • AI Product Engineering: Prototype AI applications with GitHub Copilot, design interfaces that let people review and override AI outputs, and develop strategic plans for enterprise AI adoption.

Time commitment varies by program format and length:

  • Self-paced modules can be worked through on your own schedule, so weekly hours are flexible

  • Live instructor-led sessions follow a set weekly schedule, typically requiring a few dedicated hours alongside self-study time

  • Longer programs (6 to 11 months) generally ask for a steadier weekly commitment than short term certification courses (10 to 16 weeks)

You won't lose access or fall out of the program:

  • Live sessions are recorded, so you can catch up on anything you miss

  • Flexi Learn access (available on select courses) lets you revisit class recordings to stay aligned with your cohort

  • Mentor support and doubt-clarification sessions are available if you need help getting back on track

  • Lifetime access to e-learning content means there's no hard deadline forcing you to abandon material you haven't finished

You'll get:

  • Resume and profile reviews and career guidance to position your new skills for the roles you're targeting

  • Interview preparation, covering both technical and behavioral rounds

  • Job assistance and introductions to help connect your learning to an actual career outcome

Support depth varies by program, so check the specific career services included before enrolling if this is a priority for you.

Know more about Artificial Intelligence (AI) Courses

Artificial intelligence refers to a set of AI technologies that enable machines to learn, reason, solve problems, and make decisions in ways that replicate aspects of human intelligence. Early AI relied on rule based systems that followed fixed instructions. Today, machine learning trains computers to find patterns in data, which is why AI now powers smart assistants, personalized recommendations, medical diagnostics, fraud detection, and self driving cars.

Industries like finance, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing use AI and data science to analyze data, automate processes, improve accuracy, and make predictions.

Why AI Skills Are in High Demand

Businesses now run on data. Companies use AI and machine learning to automate routine work, spot patterns early with predictive models, and adapt quickly as customer and market demands change.

Stanford's 2026 AI Index reports that 88% of organizations now use Artificial Intelligence. Demand for skilled professionals has not kept pace: 63% of employers surveyed in the WEF Future of Jobs Report 2025 name skills gaps as their biggest barrier to business transformation.

PwC's 2026 Global AI Jobs Barometer found that jobs requiring AI skills are growing far faster than the overall job market and pay an average wage premium of 62%. That is why more professionals are turning to online artificial intelligence courses to build in-demand, practical skills.
