Large Language Models( LLMs) are AI systems designed to work with human language. They can read text, understand context, and generate responses that sound natural. You’ll see them used in chatbots, writing assistants, search tools, and other applications that rely on language understanding.

They work by learning patterns from massive collections of text. Instead of memorizing information, the model studies how words  appear together and how meaning changes depending on context. Most modern LLMs use a transformer-based design that helps them pay attention to relationships between words across an entire sentence or paragraph.

When you give them a prompt, they generate a response by predicting what comes next based on everything they’ve learned during training.
