Programme Details

The 18-week Oxford Programme in Leadership Skills with AI combines theory with hands-on experimentation, ensuring your learning aligns well with the modern organisational demands.

Learning Path

  • The programme will commence with a comprehensive induction session designed to orient participants to the learning journey. This session will provide an overview of the curriculum, pedagogy, evaluation framework, and digital learning platforms.

    • You will explore leadership identity, emotional intelligence and adaptive leadership styles, drawing on frameworks such as Goleman’s six styles and Grint’s problem typology.
    • You will analyse team dynamics, psychological safety and organisational culture, and examine how leaders shape performance and navigate change.
    • You will examine the evolving role of business in addressing societal challenges and assess the trade-offs between profitability and purpose.

    • Using structured tools such as the ‘Pick your battle’ framework, you will evaluate strategic alignment between organisational capabilities, stakeholder expectations and long-term impact.

    • You will step into the role of a senior leader at Nexora Logistics and define a pressing organisational challenge.

    • Building on Part 1, you will classify the nature of the problem, clarify complexity and begin structuring your approach, using AI as a disciplined thinking partner.

    • You will gather and evaluate information using systems thinking and SWOT analysis.

    • You will learn to classify sources, surface assumptions and structure ambiguity, while using AI responsibly to generate insight and test interpretation.

    • You will apply root cause analysis tools such as the 5 Whys and Fishbone diagram to identify underlying drivers of performance issues.

    • You will then use the importance–urgency matrix to prioritise action and make explicit leadership trade-offs.

    • You will generate, evaluate and justify strategic solutions.

    • Using structured criteria to assess feasibility, risk and impact, you will develop a clear recommendation and use AI to refine messaging, anticipate objections and strengthen reasoning.

  • The programme culminates in a 1,500-word formative project. You will define a leadership challenge, diagnose root causes, prioritise action and develop a justified strategic recommendation, reflecting critically on your use of AI.

Got Questions Regarding Cohort Dates?

FAQs

  • How is the programme delivered?

Designed specifically for working professionals, this cohort-led programme combines self-paced learning, interactive expert engagement, and structured academic support.

The journey begins with a Teaching Assistant(TA) led induction session, followed by flexible, pre-recorded video lectures delivered by Oxford Saïd faculty to build core knowledge. Learners participate in live online masterclasses hosted by Oxford and industry experts. Beyond live delivery, the curriculum features hands-on projects assisted by TA and structured assessments. To ensure continuous support, a dedicated Simplilearn TA moderates group discussions, fosters peer collaboration, and resolves academic queries through the dedicated forum.

  • How is the programme assessed?

There are two types of assessment. The first is a summative quiz – autograded-graded and a necessary component in unlocking your programme certificate. The second is a formative project,  which is highly recommended, as it brings together your learning by applying ideas from across modules. Formative projects are often peer-reviewed with additional feedback from TAs (if applicable).

  • Are the live interactive session timings fixed?

The session timings showcased on the course page are tentative. They may change as per the availability of the instructor. The interactive sessions will be kept at a time convenient for both the instructor and the learners.

  • Can I interact with other professionals in the programme?

You will join a cohort of experienced professionals from diverse backgrounds. Peer interaction is encouraged through discussion forums, allowing you to network, share industry perspectives and learn from your global colleagues.

  • What is the refund policy?

To qualify for a refund, you must submit your refund request within 7 days from the start date of the regular class (Live or Recorded, as the case may be), whether attended or not. Any refund request failing to meet this requirement will not be accepted, and no refund will be provided.

  • Does this programme grant Elumni status?

Successful completion of the programme makes you eligible for Oxford Saïd Executive Education Elumni status. The Elumni process typically takes 60–90 days after programme completion. Once processed, you can join a global network of over 50,000 professionals across 195 countries, receive event invitations, access the Oxford University Research Archive and enjoy a 10% discount on further Oxford online study.

  • Can I change my cohort after enroling in the programme?

Yes. You are eligible for one complimentary cohort change within the first 30 days of your enrolment. If you cannot continue in your current cohort or have already used your complimentary change, you may request an additional cohort transfer by paying the applicable fee. For details on the process and support with your request, please contact our support team.

  • How do I access the Oxford Saïd Elumni Network?

Once you complete the programme, you will receive an invitation to join the Oxford Saïd Elumni Network. This includes instructions on how to join the closed LinkedIn group and how to access your other benefits.
