About the Speaker
Over her career, Avital has led engineering teams for server systems management, storage operating systems, and application development and has learned the art of balancing product feature set requirements with performance, scale, and quality. She has leadership experience at various companies ranging from an early-stage startup, a startup within a company, and in large companies such as Dell and NetApp.
Avital has scaled engineering teams from 18 to 200, transformed mature organizations of 200+, and been on both sides of acquisition integration. She communicates effectively with executives as well as with junior engineers and is most passionate about building strong teams to deliver A+ products.
Currently, as VP of Engineering at Salesforce, Avital leads the development of several Sales Cloud products such as core email, dedupe and match, High Velocity Sales, and integrations with Google and Microsoft.
