Got Questions Regarding Cohort Dates?

FAQs

  • How is the programme delivered?

Designed specifically for working professionals, this cohort-led programme combines self-paced learning, interactive expert engagement, and structured academic support.

The journey begins with a Teaching Assistant(TA) led induction session, followed by flexible, pre-recorded video lectures delivered by Oxford Saïd faculty to build core knowledge. Learners participate in live online masterclasses hosted by Oxford and industry experts. Beyond live delivery, the curriculum features hands-on projects assisted by TA and structured assessments. To ensure continuous support, a dedicated Simplilearn TA moderates group discussions, fosters peer collaboration, and resolves academic queries through the dedicated forum.

  • How is the programme assessed?

There are two types of assessment. The first is a summative quiz – autograded-graded and a necessary component in unlocking your programme certificate. The second is a formative project,  which is highly recommended, as it brings together your learning by applying ideas from across modules. Formative projects are often peer-reviewed with additional feedback from TAs (if applicable).

  • Will I interact with other participants?

You will join a cohort of experienced professionals from diverse backgrounds. Peer interaction is encouraged through discussion forums, allowing you to network, share industry perspectives and learn from your global colleagues.

  • How much time should I dedicate each week?

Plan to set aside regular time each week to review the modules and complete the reflection, discussion and project work.

  • Do I need a technical background?

No, you do not need coding skills or a technical background. The programme focuses on the organisational, strategic and human dimensions of AI. Familiarity with your organisation's workflows and decision-making structures is more important than technical expertise.

  • What is the CIPHER framework?

The CIPHER framework is a diagnostic tool developed by Professor Daniel Armanios. It helps you assess readiness across six dimensions: Cognitive, Informational, Projection, Haptic, Exchange and Resource. You will use it to identify tensions and plan your deployment strategy.

  • What is the refund policy?

To qualify for a refund, you must submit your refund request within 7 days from the start date of the regular class (Live or Recorded, as the case may be), whether attended or not. Any refund request failing to meet this requirement will not be accepted and no refund will be provided.

  • Who is the ideal candidate for this programme?

The programme is designed for senior professionals with at least seven years of experience. It is ideal for those in leadership roles who need to define strategy, operating models and governance for AI adoption rather than just technical implementation.

  • What support will I receive?

You will have access to a dedicated enrolment advisor for administrative support and will receive academic guidance from faculty during live sessions.

  • How does the programme address workforce transition?

You will analyse the 'skills and effort gap' and learn to design roles that allow humans to work effectively alongside AI, preventing de-skilling.

  • Can I change my cohort after enroling in the programme?

Yes. You are eligible for one complimentary cohort change within the first 30 days of your enrolment. If you cannot continue in your current cohort or have already used your complimentary change, you may request an additional cohort transfer by paying the applicable fee. For details on the process and support with your request, please contact our support team.
