• What is the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation and Practitioner training course?

  The TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation and Practitioner is a bundled pathway that allows you to earn the Practitioner (Level 2) certification in a single learning journey. It is based on the TOGAF® Standard, 10th Edition, and is ideal for professionals who want to gain end-to-end knowledge from understanding core concepts to applying them in real-world architecture scenarios.

• How is the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Combined Part 1 and Part 2 Exam different from taking the exams separately?

  With the Combined certification, you take a single exam split into two parts:

  • Part 1: Covers Foundation-level knowledge (multiple-choice questions)
  • Part 2: Covers Practitioner-level application (scenario-based questions)

  Passing both parts in one sitting earns you both the Foundation and Practitioner certifications no need to schedule two separate exams.

• What certification will I receive after passing the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Combined Part 1 and Part 2 Exam?

  Upon successful completion of both parts of the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation and Practitioner (Level 1 & 2) exam, you will earn the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner certification.

• Do I need any prerequisites to take the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation and Practitioner training course?

  There are no prerequisites for taking the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation and Practitioner (Level 1 & 2) course, but we recommend having an undergraduate degree or a high school diploma in any discipline, as may be prevalent and accepted in their respective country of residence and/or work for better understanding of the subject.

• How should I prepare for the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Combined Exam?

  Your preparation for the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Combined Exam will depend on your current role and familiarity with enterprise architecture. This TOGAF® certification course is designed to support learners at all levels by providing structured, expert-led training. The curriculum, combined with real-world examples and comprehensive study material, will help you build the necessary skills and confidence to clear the certification exam successfully.

• What does the exam format look like?

  The Combined exam includes:

  • Part 1 – Foundation
    • Exam type: Multiple choice
    • Number of questions: 40
    • Pass score: 60% (24 out of 40 questions)
    • Time limit: 60 minutes
  • Part 2 – Practitioner
    • Exam type: Scenario Based, Complex Multiple Choice
    • Number of questions: 8
    • Pass score: 60% (24 out of 40 points)
    • Time limit: 90 minutes

• What is the TOGAF® Framework?

  The TOGAF® framework is globally recognized for designing, planning, implementing, and governing enterprise architecture, enabling organizations to align business goals with IT strategies effectively.

• What is the exam retake criteria?

  A free exam retake is provided if a learner completes the course within 12 months from the enrollment date. Participants need to wait for 30 days before taking the retake exam.

  The guarantee becomes void if:

  • Participants do not maintain 100% attendance during the training sessions, making them ineligible for the first voucher, and hence retake voucher can’t be claimed. Participants do not submit the scorecard of the first exam to Simplilearn.
