What is Professional Scrum Master certification?
The Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is a respected badge of Scrum skills. It proves that an individual knows how to use the Scrum method well and can effectively use it . Scrum.org provides this certification in three levels: PSM I, II, and III. Each level represents different degrees of Scrum knowledge and skill. The focus of the certification revolves around flexible planning, self-organization, and ongoing development applied to large projects.
What is the PSM II exam pattern, duration and passing score?
The PSM II certification exam (also referred to as assessment) is an online, open-book exam. The PSM II exam is for advanced Scrum practitioner
Format: 30 multiple-choice/multiple-answer questions and true/false questions
Duration: 90 minutes
Pass mark: 85%What is the pass criteria for the PSM II exam?
If you aim to clear the Professional Scrum Master (PSM) II certification test, you must score at least 85%. Around 68 out of the total 80 questions need to be answered correctly. This test is online and can be taken from home if your internet connection is stable and your device meets the technical requirements.
Can I retake the exam if I fail? How many attempts are allowed?
Scrum.org allows you to retake the Professional Scrum Master II exam if you fail. Two attempts are permitted within 14 days after you receive your key, at no additional cost.
