What This Build-a-thon Will Show You

You’ll build a multi-agent system from scratch in two phases:

Part 1: Agent Design + Setup

You’ll start by defining how real systems are structured:

• Break down work into distinct agent roles
• Build individual agents for research, drafting, review, and execution
• Test each agent independently
• Understand what happens when roles are too broad (and how to fix it)

Part 2: Orchestration + Handoffs

Then you’ll connect everything into a working system:

• Build the orchestration layer that connects agents
• Create structured handoffs between agents
• Pass outputs between agents automatically
• Add human checkpoints where they actually matter

By the end, your system runs end-to-end.
