In this hands-on 4-hour Build-a-thon, you'll build an AI-powered analytics dashboard from scratch using a modern no-code agentic AI stack.

You'll connect an AI agent to a real business dataset using Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling it to retrieve actual data instead of generating plausible answers. Then you'll build a shareable dashboard that converts natural-language questions into SQL queries, charts, and actionable business insights.

By the end of the session, you'll have a working AI analytics dashboard, understand how grounded AI works, and leave with an architecture you can reuse with your own datasets.

What This Build-a-thon Will Show You

Over three intensive hours, you'll build an end-to-end AI analytics application that combines AI agents, MCP, databases, and dashboarding—without writing extensive code.

Part 1: Build the AI Data Agent

Start with a real e-commerce dataset and learn how AI retrieves trustworthy business information. You'll:

• Load the Olist dataset into PostgreSQL (Supabase)
• Build an AI agent in n8n
• Connect your database directly and through an MCP server
• Ask business questions in plain English
• Compare grounded AI responses with traditional AI-generated answers

Part 2: Build the Analytics Dashboard

Turn your AI agent into an interactive dashboard anyone can use. You'll:

• Build the dashboard interface using Claude Code
• Connect it to your AI agent
• Automatically generate charts with ChartGen.ai
• Deploy and share your dashboard with a public link
