In 4 hours, you won't just ask AI about your data. You'll build an AI agent that's actually connected to it, and a dashboard that shows what it finds.

What This Build-a-thon Will Show You

In this live session, you’ll build an end-to-end AI Data Agent + Analytics Dashboard. The build happens in three stages:

Stage 1: Data + Intelligence Layer

You’ll start with a real e-commerce dataset (Olist) and:

• Load it into a Postgres database using Supabase
• Design how data should be structured for querying
• Build an AI agent that can translate natural language into SQL
• See how “questions” become real database queries in seconds

Stage 2: MCP-Powered Grounding Layer

Then you’ll connect the intelligence layer:

• Link the AI agent to the database using Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Understand why most AI analytics fails (it guesses instead of retrieving)
• Fix it by forcing every answer to come from real queries
• Compare grounded vs ungrounded AI responses in real time

Stage 3: Dashboard + Deployment Layer

Finally, you’ll turn it into a usable product:

• Generate a dashboard interface using natural language prompts in Claude Code
• Connect the UI to your AI agent backend via n8n workflows
• Auto-generate charts and insights from live data
• Deploy a shareable analytics dashboard anyone can use

By the end, you'll have a dashboard that answers any question you have correctly, and you'll know how to build another one.
