CSM Exam & Certification

  • There are no eligibility criteria set for the ScrumMaster certification. Any professional looking to further his or her career in management can take this course.

  • Following are the steps involved in the certification process:
    • Step one: understand the Scrum framework and lifecycle.
    • Step two: attend the two-day CSM training course conducted by a certified trainer.
    • Step three: pass the CSM online test conducted by Scrum Alliance.
    • To pass the test, you will need to take the 50 question CSM test and answer 37 out of the 50 questions correctly within the 60-minute time limit.
    • Once you pass the exam, you will need to submit a license agreement to the Scrum Alliance for acceptance, and a membership profile must be completed.

  • What do I need to do to unlock my Simplilearn certificate?

    • Complete 85% of the course.
    • Attend one complete batch.
    • Complete one simulation test with a minimum score of 60%.

  • The online CSM exam can be taken within 14 days from the day you complete your training course and receive links to the online exam. 

  • There are a total of 50 multiple choice questions. The passing score is 74% or 37 correct answers.

  • You will have two attempts to pass the exam. 
     

  • You will get the results immediately.

  • CSM certification is valid for three years.
