Brief Intro to Asana and Jira

These days companies handle projects of varying sizes, complexities, and timeframes. It would have been impossible to accomplish tasks, which would have otherwise looked uphill and confusing, if there were no such project management tools to aid the process. These cloud-based softwares help to assemble, collaborate, plan, and carry out tasks by simplifying complex and bigger tasks into smaller manageable chunks and are assigned to right-match individuals and teams to submit within a predetermined time frame. This cuts out the chaos and helps in meeting deadlines efficiently.

Asana has a user-friendly interface, easily integrates with a host of other project management apps, is collaboration-focused, and helps to prioritize tasks with ease in real time. It permits project segmentation and prioritization and allows you to customize your workflow style, offering different Views. Asana has an attractive, customizable dashboard. Asana also offers very high-security standards to store information.

Like Asana, Jira too has emerged as a powerful work management tool with special application in software development. It comes with a time-tracking capability, which Asana does not. Jira is also used for bug tracking. Jira is an agile project management tool that offers numerous reporting options to teams. Jira’s USP lies in its Agile Roadmaps, workflow customization, and offers bank-grade security and centralized administration.

Asana to Jira integration facilitates collaboration and seamless working in business and product teams.

Benefits of Asana Jira Integration

  • Increased Transparency

Asana to Jira integration will automatically update changes from one software package to another and vice versa. This saves a lot of time as it does not require manual entry, and succeeds in avoiding errors in data.

  • Superior Communication

Asana Jira integration simplifies communication for teams collaborating on a project. The integration allows direct communication between Jira Cloud and Asana which makes communication through emails or any other software unnecessary between team members.

  • Increased Visibility

The integration allows teams to clearly see what the other is doing. This clarity removes all grounds for doubts about teams not performing, not collaborating, or even obstructing each other. It helps to build trust which is missing when teams remain siloed in their software.

  • Cancels the Need to Use One Project Management System

With the integration, there is no need to force everyone to use one project management software. It permits business and product teams to interconnect and work consistently with the Engineering and Technical teams who accomplish their tasks in Jira.
