Let us begin with the agenda to see how this course goes along achieving its intended objective.

Then, we will move on to the accreditation institutes, and understand their importance. Next, we will look at the target audience, and the professionals who can aim for this certification. The next topic that we will discuss is the SSBB exam format, which includes the details on the structure of the exam , no of questions etc. Lastly, we will explain how SimpliLearn prepares you for the exam, by providing the provision of a blended training of both classroom and online. Let us now proceed to the next slide and discuss what Six Sigma Black Belt is.

0.4 What is SSBB

To understand Six Sigma Black Belt better, let us first understand the importance of SSBB certification. SSGB (Pronounce as S-S-G-B) professionals are trained in process improvement techniques including the Six Sigma DMAIC (Pronounce as d-mack) road map for improving results. They usually undertake process improvements in their specific functional areas. But the Green Belts are usually not exposed to the advanced Six Sigma concepts, and therefore, are not equipped to solve the problems that would require more analytical skills. Here the SSBB professionals come into picture. This is the reason why it is advisable to undergo the SSBB training after the SSGB training, as SSBB is built on the top of the SSGB course. SSBB is the next level of professional Six Sigma certification. The course offered by Simplilearn is referred as LSSBB (Pronounce as L-S-S-B-B) (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt). Our Six Sigma Black Belt training and certification program is modelled on the Body of Knowledge (BOK) (Pronounce as B-O-K) of the American Society of Quality (ASQ) (Pronounce as A-S-Q) , with cutting-edge and real life applications integrated with the training section. Once the training is complete, the participants will be able to implement the concepts of Lean, DFSS (Pronounce as D-F-S-S), Six Sigma DMAIC and TPM (Pronounce as T-P-M) using statistical tools and analysis. Next, let us discuss the accreditation institutes that provide this certification.

0.5 Accreditation Institute

Here, we will look into the two accreditation institutes namely, ASQ (Pronounce as A-S-Q) and IASSC (Pronounce as I-A-S-S-C) that provide these certifications. ASQ stands for American Society of Quality and its certification is a mark of excellence. It offers 18 certifications, and issues around 150,000 certifications to the professionals all over the world. They have been in the quality movement for the past 65 years. The exam is conducted twice a year. The exam fee for ASQ SSBB (Pronounce as A-S-Q- S-S-B-B) is USD 449 (Pronounce as U-S-D-449). Let us now understand the next institute, IASSC. It is also an accreditation body that stands for ‘International Association for Six Sigma Certification.’ Simplilearn is accredited to People Cert (IASSC ). The examination fee for SSBB, as per IASSC is USD 395, apart from the course fee. Let us now move on to the target audience for this course.

0.6 Target Audience

If you fulfill any of the requirements mentioned in the slide, you can go for this course.
