Many workers are content in their job, and that’s perfectly fine. Others feel stuck and wish they could find a way to advance or try an entirely new occupation.
Then there are those like Jairaj Baseke, who are willing to learn the necessary skills to leap forward in their careers. Jairaj worked as a configuration management database (CMDB) analyst for ValueLabs, creating applications and ensuring updated data. He also performed audits.
“My role wasn’t responsible for implementation, and I wanted to grow my role in the company to do the implementation and position myself for a salary hike,” Jairaj explained. “I approached my friends in the infrastructure team, and they recommended taking online courses from Simplilearn.”
Jairaj elected to enroll in Simplilearn’s Microsoft Azure certification course. The course took place over 90 days, with classes on the weekends. “Our experienced trainers made sure that everyone could understand what was being taught,” Jairaj said. “I didn’t have any issues. All you need is a good internet connection and a proper headset.”
