My Career journey so far

I am a design enthusiast with over 7 years of experience in the industry. I started as a Web Designer in 2015 at an MNC and, with time, gained experience in creating websites and apps. After getting multiple feedback from the sales team about our technical design having an impact on marketing goals, I became interested in learning branding and marketing. Hence, I decided to learn and explore the marketing side of the business and came across Digital Marketing.

With a growing interest in digital marketing, my ambition for promotion and higher pay led me to upskill. As much as I was looking for opportunities to upgrade my skill set, I wanted to advance in my professional career, and digital marketing seemed to be the right choice for me. So, after rigorous research, I enrolled myself in the Digital Marketing Specialist Certification from Simplilearn as a step toward my upskilling journey.

Working in the corporate world for more than fourteen years enriched me with loads of practical experience, knowledge, and skills. I also worked as a career counselor and branding during that period. However, with an urge to face more challenges and brush my conceptual understanding, I decided to change my career path. I hold diverse experiences, with the first eleven years of expertise coming from the area of sales and marketing, concept selling, team building, and people management. I believe in a life goal that education is best served by experience than solely by educators.

However, to enter a university as an educator required a certification or degree and brush up on my skills.. I looked for online platforms to manage the journey of my new education with other personal chores and work. Finding a good quality educational platform was difficult among many options. Additionally, the reliability factor further blurs the judgment.

I gained a lot of knowledge and skills to implement it practically. Sir guided me with an in-depth knowledge of each topic like SEO, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Email Marketing, and Social Media Marketing. I even learned more about implementing the course with our future clients when we start working independently. 

Along with the project Support, even the backend team of Simplilearn was so good with immediate responses that helped me to complete projects on time. Even the Skill Up courses helped me a lot to gain more knowledge. Moreover, the notes from Simplilearn are always up to date. I am very happy and satisfied with the course.

I am an educator and Dean of Studies at inCHES Academy with a biotechnology background. My area of expertise includes molecular biology, biotechnology, research, and digital marketing. Being a course coordinator, I am accountable for the marketing training courses of the organization. I come from a Biotech background with MSc in Biotechnology from Mumbai University. Besides being skilled in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, and Research, currently, I work as the Dean of Studies at inCHES Academy. Having been associated with InCHES for 6 years, my current responsibilities include Human Resource Management and Training and Quality and Communications Management. I help to build Customer Centricity within the organization and with the customers to manage customer feedback, drive service excellence, and support revenue enhancement programs. I am also the course coordinator and help market training courses for my organization. 

The Challenge 

Working full-time in inCHES, the projects required me to upskill for better knowledge. However, there was limited time for attending the courses to gain expertise. Furthermore, I needed a project for hands-on experience for better understanding. Finding all of these in a single educational platform with quality and a hybrid learning method was challenging.

My Career Journey So Far

I got polio in my right leg at a young age, so I had to drop out of school. But my mother was determined to get me educated and helped me return to formal education. Today, I am a B. Com graduate. I completed my graduation back in 2003. I started off as a lab assistant. Since then, I have done some small jobs like Data Entry and worked in call centers as a chat support executive.

My Career Journey So Far

After completing my Bachelor’s in Business Administration, I started my career in the field of Sales and upselling, but I always had an interest in marketing. In my first job position, I learned a lot about handling clients and managing business operations to generate profit. However, this was not enough to reach my ambition of becoming a digital marketer.
