When I realized that I needed a career change, I took action by taking courses in Simplilearn’s Quality Management Training to build my talents and marketability.

I received a Bachelor’s of Applied Science from Digvijay College, Rajnandgaon, and completed my Master’s in Retail Management at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Working at a startup isn’t easy. We have to set up so many processes, understand the drawbacks of each, and come up with solutions. Having earned my MBA in 2009 in finance and marketing, I had a cursory knowledge of quality management methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. A few years after starting my career at Ezetap Mobile Solutions Pvt. Ltd, I realized that by harnessing the power of a proven business process methodology, I could greatly improve my own output.

I did extensive research to determine which methodology was right for me, and then read reviews before choosing a program. I decided that Lean Six Sigma was the ideal methodology not only for my current role, but also future endeavors. As a mechanical engineer, I have the recipe for getting through the pandemic: Don’t waste time binge-watching television and waiting for Covid-19 to pass. Instead, use the time to help your career by taking online learning courses.
