I passed my PMP® Exam today - Feb.14,2012

I started my PMP® journey by first registering for PMP®Online course in Simplilearn in the month of June, 2011. I attended the Classroom training and subsequently completed my required 35 contact hours using the Online course.

There was a gap of nearly 3 months before I picked up the thread again and started going through PMBOK® Guide.  I started trying out the Fress PMP® Tests Mock tests in Simplilearn site. My score used to hover around 60 to 70 percent.

Simplilearn helped me in filling out my experience and registering for the exam in PMI® site. I registered for my exam on Dec 5, 2011 for Feb 14, 2012.

My preparation picked up pace and strength only from January 2012. I purchased Rita’s V7 book and also tried out PM Fast track along with all the mock tests in Simplilearn.

Just the day before the exam, I spent considerable time going through all formulas, try out few more questions and all ITTO in PMBOK® Guide(though I could not memorize any of them).

I had scheduled my exam at 8:00 AM. I reached Prometric site almost one hour and relaxed. The exam was neither easy nor very tough though it had many situational questions.

I consumed 3.5 hours to complete all the 200 questions and revised my answers in the last 30 mins before I ran out of time.

The few seconds before the result popped up was the longest and hardest for me.

I thanked God and all those who helped me in this journey especially Simplilearn for making me become a PMP®!!
